SHABIR AHMAD MIR

GHAZAL

Let us fall in love one last time.
I trust you somehow one last time.

Before I mourn your faithlessness.
Let me kiss your brow one last time.

Faithful- with your infidel tongue
Would you take the vow one last time.

Who fell with iblees on that night
Would you tell me now one last time ?

“ Now that I am caged, let me see
My nest” says the Dove, “One last time.”

They say such boundless His mercy is
Shabir you should bow one last time.
