 A HOLY WIND

Scripture tells how the house was filled with wind
When the spirit entered, a holy wind.

How everyone though from different countries
Understood each other, a blessed wind.

And a tongue of flame rested on each head
Swept in by this mighty, violent wind.

Causing all to speak in strange languages
 A miraculous, mysterious wind.

Those that witnessed believed these men were drunk
Not so, they were moved by a Godly wind

And I David often struggling with words
Pray often to feel the strength of that wind.

 SANDSTORM

Sand on a beach in France a sudden wind
Our tablecloth like a sail fills with wind.

Waiters close shutters, suspend all service
Plates and cutlery upset by this wind.

Wine glasses tinkle then smash on the ground
Bottles roll madly encouraged by wind.

Electricity fails and lights are dimmed
Cables, shades and bulbs swaying in the wind.

Then calm descends and power is restored
The owner smiles 'It was only a wind'

And I David focussed on the money
Note our bill has blown away in the wind.
