MOON JUNOON

Sophia Pandeya

The guests arrive at midnight
Dressed to the nines in moonlight

Clouds, owls and silver foxes
All take a shine to moonlight

Raise a glass, toast to miracles
As poets turn wine to moonlight

You take your pay in piety
I’ll drink down mine in moonlight

Naz needs no ink for verses
She writes her lines in moonlight
